What started from a simple advertisement in a natural history magazine and a few failed hatching attempts eventually led to successful Triops colonies and a passion for sharing knowledge with others.

For many years, the site grew and evolved, helping thousands of people successfully hatch and raise their first Triops. After a period offline, the site was revived and completely modernized with a fresh design and improved user experience while maintaining all the valuable content that has made it a trusted resource.
